Cohabs is a Belgian startup that has been developing a new vision around the concept of co-living. They created a network of shared homes where people can have a new experience of living together. Cohabs focus on the wellbeing and happiness of their members by improving their everyday life through new technologies, modern design and opportunities to connect with interesting people.

I've been working with Cohabs since 2016, it started with a few jobs where I was doing real estate pictures, but eventually, months after months it became way more than just nice photographs. Indeed Cohabs is a network of beautiful houses but it's also an amazing community of cohabitants. So they needed content presenting their concept without giving this cold feeling of a commercial real estate agency but more focusing on people.

After a year collaborating with them, they asked me to produce a video about co-living. We started thinking about what we could do and we decided to ask the actual community what they think, keeping it as authentic as possible. No script, no preparation, we interviewed the members and put together what they said in a single video called "Join the migration".

Over the last three years, I produced a lot visuals of their houses.  Here is a selection which represents the overall atmosphere.

The behind the scenes of Cohabs is quite impressive, it's not just buying houses and renting bedrooms, there is a tremendous amount of work and dedication around each houses reflecting the drive and ambition of all the people involved. That's why when they asked me to create a video about what they do, I knew I wanted to make a story about resurrecting forgotten places to bring life to them again. Every house is a new chapter in their story.
